Dr. Cain earned her medical degree from The Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency training at The Mount Sinai West/Morningside Hospitals. She received her undergraduate degree in finance and investments from Baruch College, graduating with distinction magna cum laude. She returned to Baruch College to pursue her Masters of Business Administration while working in the banking sector, prior to deciding to follow her passion for medicine. She returned to college to complete a post-baccalaureate pre-medical program at the City College of New York while working in research, before attending medical school. This experience gives her a unique perspective and understanding of going through professional and personal transitions, which is highly relevant for many.
Currently, Dr. Cain is a faculty member at NYU School of Medicine, where she evaluates and treats patients at the NYU Langone Brooklyn Emergency Room. She is also affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital at Northwell Health, where she maintains admitting privileges. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Cain provides initial and second opinion consultations, ongoing medication management, psychotherapy, and combined medication management. Fluent in Polish.
